Caterpillar's Perspective

So I was sitting on top of a great big mushroom, when all of a sudden I look over and there is this very small girl staring back at me. She looked very confused and lost and I didn't quite know what to say to her. I then asked her who she was. I was getting very irritated by her because she wouldn't tell me who she was. I asked a simple question and yet she couldn't even answer or explain herself. I was very annoyed. She didn't seem to know anything and liked to argue and ask a lot of questions, so I finally got off the mushroom and left. Although, I did try and help her by telling her what she could et to either grow larger or smaller.

  1. Why do you think the Caterpillar decides not to tell Alice which side will make her grow and which will make her shrink?

  2. He wants to give Alice a learning process, so that she can make her own decisions even though it may not be the best choice, but she needs to learn from her mistakes.
